Hector Canonge
This site-specific performance reflects on life in a dystopian future due to changes of human interaction, social behavior, adaptation, and self-awareness as an effect of the recent worldwide pandemic. The project alludes to the possibility of living in a familiar but strange new world where measures of inhabiting the planet have been adopted. The durational performance is a territorial exploration and somatic challenge as the artist, dressed in an environmental protective suit and with a glass helmet over the head, executes various activities in the public sphere.
