Julia Justo
In this socially engaged installation, immigrants are invited to write about their hopes for the future. Their writings were included in small bags attached to a flag. The flag is made from discarded clothing the artist bought and used during her time as an immigrant in America. The project seeks to create a platform to resist injustice and speaks to how we could move forward collectively.
