Kevin Frech

This performance explores how society assigns value to minimum wage work, which has often been deemed “essential” during the pandemic. With minimum wage stuck nationally at $7.25 an hour, the repetitive and exhausting nature of this type of labor is gamified as the artist tries to catch 725 pennies in one hour and bank them in his tip jar.
