Nima Nikakhlagh
This performance exercises participatory democracy in a way that seeks a more immediate contact with people and at the same time asks for public entry to the decision-making process that is to affect political lives. The work’s action inhabits the dynamic space between artists and spectators, defining the relationship between the two in a mode of contemporary artistic experience for rethinking one’s position as it relates to the world and to one another. Nikakhlagh will enter the cage at the beginning of the festival.
