Robert Wallace

This performance is a one-man show about a New York City bartender and Vietnam War veteran, Charles C. Grey. Grey works at a bar, making drinks for friends and lovers who are no longer around; intermixing his past and present traumas in his hyperactive imagination; marrying the fantastical world of theatre with quotidian reality. This performance stages an intimate ritual - a durational monologue - dedicated to reliving memories, in avoidance of tragic reminders. As Charles makes their drink of choice, their go-to “poison” becomes his “medicine.” Guests are invited to attend happy hour; drinks served with a twist.
