This performance is simultaneously a consciously futile attempt to correct past police murders and while also an allegory for how the world normalizes tragedy. While innocent Black people are shot, strangled, fatally mishandled, and abused in so many ways by police officers, little is done to correct such injustice, despite demand. During this 2+ hour performance, the spirits of the victims will be evoked while others have the option to engage, act, or ignore. This performance is dedicated first and foremost to the murdered victims.
