Reid Arowood

This performative fusion of body and tech fantasizes the possibilities of human anatomy when paired with technology. What can a body mean if we have the power to physically change and modify the perception/“update it” through filters and editing softwares? This demonstration observes the artist as they attempt the materialization of their techno-utopian fantasy of having complete and instant control of their own body by physically tethering their anatomy with a diagnostic station and proceeding to modify/design the details of their new and updated physical form.
